Admira Pte Ltd, along with Alan Kueh and Kelly Kawahara Cheah, was invited to Akival 2024 to educate aspiring students on embarking on a career in architecture. Alan Kueh, founder of AK+ Archipedia and Memotics, showcased his journey in the architecture industry, particularly with Memotics, blending cutting-edge technology with human-centric design to create AR spaces. Alan’s visionary approach inspired the audience to explore tech-infused architecture in the digital age.
Kelly Kawahara Cheah, founder of K2SD Group, enlightened us on the cultural influences impacting laminate usage in Italy, Japan, and Singapore, emphasising the need for architects to be culturally sensitive and resource-aware, providing valuable insights for future architects to consider in their own projects.
Furthermore, Admira‘s Director, Jake Tan, introduced the innovative APOD (Artistic Panels on Demand), which allows for bespoke, high-quality custom prints on laminates with low minimum quantities, revolutionizing material customization in design.
